Arabic Language, Literature and Culture

Through a carefully designed curriculum for the teaching of Standard Modern Arabic, students can go from complete beginners to C1 level in just four years, while mastering the basics of dialects, translation, media language, business language, etc.

The profile of an Arabic Studies student would be incomplete without a thorough study of the history and achievements of the Arab-Islamic civilization, the contemporary Arab world, and classical, modern and contemporary Arabic literature, which are all areas that provide the necessary context for the entire study program. In addition, Arabic is used as an essential tool for learning about and studying the rich heritage of this civilization and culture, which had an immense impact on the development of European science and encouraged the emergence of humanism and the Renaissance in Europe. Also, for centuries, the Middle East and North Africa, which comprise the Arab world, have been areas of particular political, economic and strategic importance, which is by no means waning.
