      The goal Using complex language units in a conversation with a native speaker. Acquiring knowledge of the technique of written translation of literary texts and lyrical poems. Achieving competence in language communication (listening, reading, written and spoken interaction) at level C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
      The outcome The student expands his/her vocabulary, remembers professional and academic terms, translates literary lyrical texts, analyzes complex syntactic structures and applies knowledge in argumentative written and oral expression.
      Contents
      Contents of lectures Complex grammatical, lexical and functional exercises, translating of texts from newspapers, scientific journals and literary works.
      Contents of exercises Development of all aspects of communicative competence and all language skills (understanding, speaking, reading and writing), translation exercises, interactive teaching. Introduction to various aspects of Czech culture and society through independent work.
