      The goal Introducing students to trends and poetic tendencies in South Slavic drama after the Second World War
      The outcome Upon completion of the course, participants will be able to understand poetic trends and changes in the field of dramatic creation in the South Slavic area in the interval from the end of the Second World War to the present day, with special reference to the theatrical life of dramatic literature.
      Contents
      Contents of lectures Acquaintance with the main poetic tendencies of post-war drama, starting with neo-modernist and neo-avant-garde currents, through the return to the Aristotelian-mimetic dramaturgical model, all the way to contemporary tendencies (political, non-verbal, post-dramatic theater, etc.).
      Contents of exercises Reading and interpretation of representative dramatic texts; contemporary dramatic text and theatrical staging (comparative understanding of dramatic literature and theatrical practice, with the use of video materials and/or a visit to the theater).
