    The goal Mastery of the Arabic script and basic grammar. Acquisition of the most common words and expressions. Development of language skills (comprehension, speaking, writing).
    The outcome The student uses Arabic script correctly, pronounces the Arabic sounds correctly, and is familiar with the most common words and expressions, and with basic grammatical concepts.
    Contents
    Contents of lectures Arabic alphabet. The phonetic system of the Arabic language - consonants and vowels. Definite article. Triconsonantal root system (function of the three radical roots). Verbs of the first kind. Verb aspect - perfect and imperfect tense. Verbal nouns, participles. Cases.
    Contents of exercises Reading and translation of lessons related to concrete life situations, accompanied by grammatical-lexical commentaries and exercises. Exercises to apply the acquired knowledge in written and oral production.
