        The goal Getting to know traditional and modern Japan through available translations of literary works authored by foreigners who lived in Japan and through the works of art of traditional Japan that were presented at World Exhibitions in the 19th century.
        The outcome The student analyzes representations of Japan and the basic identity factors of Japanese life and society in comparison with other countries in the world through representations in literary and artistic works.
