The goal | By combining theoretical insights with a historical overview of the most important conceptions of literary genre from Aristotle's "Poetics" to today, "Theories of genre" is intended to promote a deeper understanding of the hermeneutical, ideological, aesthetic, and axiological implications of the application of generic categories to literature and art. | |||
