    Contents of lectures The concept of literary criticism and its place in the system of literary science; conceptual and terminological peculiarities in the Anglo-American, German and Romanian cultural traditions; the state of Serbian science of literature.Significant schools and directions of (pre)modern and contemporary times (philological, stylistic, impressionist, formalist, hermeneutic, structuralist, phenomenological, poststructuralist criticism; Anglo-American and French 'new criticism'; close reading, explication de texte, interpretation and interpretation of literary works; theory of reception, readerresponse criticalism and other types of turning towards the proofreading paradigm; psychoanalytical, Marxist, postcolonial, gynocritical, feminist, gender and queer criticism, ecocriticism, culturally and interdisciplinary based critical practice)
    Contents of exercises Methods and ways of writing a literary-critical text; literary-critical forms and genres (annotation, review, newspaper, magazine, (mass) media criticism; column, essay, scientific criticism, discussion, critical monograph; internet and digital-interactive critical forms)
