The goal | Developing students' skills for comparative studies of medieval and renaissance poetry and for the interdisciplinary approach to the cultures of the middle ages and early modern age. The outcome | After this course, the students should be able to write and speak about the European poetry of the Middle Ages and the Renaissance. They will acquire a comparatist perspective on various lines of European literary traditions, their intertextual connections, and inter-literary influences. | |||
