      The goal Familiarizing students with the scope of complex sentence syntax in the Japanese language. Analyzing a diverse corpus and preparing students for further independent research and advancement of their knowledge of the Japanese language through a problem-based approach and guidance to relevant literature.
      The outcome It is expected that the student is capable of actively conducting independent research in the field of syntax and can use relevant literature and perform independent research. They have learned to master the necessary scientific terminology.

      Contents of lectures The course provides insight into specific problems of Japanese syntax and emphasizes the importance of its proper understanding.
      Contents of exercises Problem-solving approach to specific linguistic questions. Reading and interpreting academic texts related to the given topic, especially in Japanese. Presenting the results of independent research from secondary literature and one's investigation in written and oral form.
