The goal		Mastering the basic skills of reading (key words, key sentences). Introduction of the basic forms of translation (interpreting and translation; literary translation) and basic types of sentences, semantically and structurally.
The outcome		Acquiring basic principles of translation (the principle of functionality, multivariate translation, etc.). The level of knowledge of the Japanese language: third or second degree (JLPT).
Contents
Contents of lectures		Getting acquainted with significant literary works of modern Japanese literature. Examples are related to the Japanese literature 3, 4, 5 and 6.
Contents of exercises		Prose literary texts in modern Japanese language (fragments of the novels; prose; essays) will be used, as well as the texts from the culture.
