      The goal Acquaintance with Czech life and institutions. Acquiring knowledge of Czech history, culture, art, architecture and industrial development. Getting to know Czech customs and contemporary trends. Study of the basic concepts of linguistic and literary bohemianism.
      The outcome The student learns about significant events from Czech history, notable personalities, and their achievements. Gains insight into geography, Czech art (music, art, film, architecture). Compare Czech and Serbian customs. Analyzes Bohemianisms in the Serbian language and compares them with Serbianisms in the Czech language. Gains knowledge about the Czech education system.

      Contents of lectures Czech history (the oldest Czech legends, Great Moravia, Charles IV, the Battle of Bela Gora, the Czech revival, the establishment of independent Czechoslovakia, Germans and Jews in the Czech Republic, the disintegration of Czechoslovakia, contacts between the Czech Republic and Serbia in the past), the geography of the Czech Republic (rivers, mountains, cities, map work), significant monuments, UNESCO monuments, symbols of the Czech Republic (anthem, flag, etc.), Czech customs (Christmas, Easter). The most important bohemians and their work, institutions dealing with bohemianism in the Czech Republic and in the world, branches of industry in the Czech Republic, the importance of art and especially film, architectural monuments. Notable Czechs in Serbia.
      Contents of exercises Lectures, additional audio, video and printed materials, films, presentations, interactive teaching. Independent work and work in groups. A tour of the "Czech Blegrade".
