    The goal Understanding individual phrases of standard Czech in familiar situations in everyday life (family, education, work, entertainment, orientation in the city, outings, sports, hobbies, food, meals and restaurants). Writing a simple text on a familiar topic. Developing basic language skills and improving acquired language competence optimally up to level A2
    The outcome The student is able to explain his needs and interests, to write an informal letter, an invitation, to create a dialogue.
    Contents
    Contents of lectures Grammar: verbs of motion and modal verbs, verbal aspect and future tense, prepositional case constructions (genitive, accusative), ordinal numbers, indefinite and negative pronouns, adjectives.
    Contents of exercises Development of all aspects of communicative competence and all language skills (understanding, speaking, reading and writing). Grammar and lexical exercises. Spelling exercises, lexical exercises and speaking, grammatical exercises. Using textbooks and illustrations, additional materials, exercises (listening, pronunciation and grammar), interactive teaching, verbal methods: monologue, dialogical, oral interaction. Introduction to various aspects of Czech culture and society.
