      The goal Knowledge about Czech literary trends, movements and programs from the second half of the 20th century until today. Using the examples of the works of selected authors, getting to know the literary and cultural tendencies of post-war Czech literature (the period of socialist realist literature, the period of the Prague Spring, the period of normalization and the period after 1989).
      The outcome Knowledge of the characteristics of Czech literature and culture from the period after the Second World War to the present day. The ability to compare features and tendencies in other Slavic literatures of this period.
      Contents
      Contents of lectures Characteristics of Czech literature after the Second World War and the division of the literary and artistic scene into official and dissident ones. Postmodernist tendencies in Czech literature after 1989.
      Contents of exercises Practical work on texts – analysis, interpretation, context.
