The goal Enhancing students' skills in the critical analysis of automatically translated texts, while identifying and correcting deviations from the requirements stated in the initial notes and translation instructions in the source text, is the primary focus. An additional task is to vary the style and register of the translated text and interpret the final text according to grammatical rules. Special attention is devoted to the lexical, phraseological, rhetorical, and other characteristics of both texts in this work.
The outcome At the end of the course, the student is enabled to critically use automatic translation services, correct the obtained text, and adapt it according to the required register or style, while consolidating their knowledge of morphology and syntax.
    Contents
Contents of lectures The focus of the subject is on the cultural and pragmatic aspects of the text, with the application of contemporary approaches in translation theory and the assessment of the impact that the translated text has on the recipient.
Contents of exercises The teaching is conducted through work on previously analyzed texts, in the form of exercises in stylistics, pragmatics, linguistics (morphology and syntax), with the mandatory activity of paraphrasing to expand the range of available linguistic variants.
