The goal | Understanding general linguistics and the development of linguistics in Japan. Preparing students for further independent research and improving their knowledge of the Japanese language with the assistance of a problem-based approach and guidance towards necessary literature. | |||
The outcome | The student acquires fundamental knowledge for actively conducting independent research in linguistics and Japanese language grammar, as well as the ability to use relevant literature and conduct independent research. They have learned te necessary scientific terminology. | |||
Contents | ||||
Contents of lectures | The teaching includes a theoretical introduction to general linguistics as well as the specifics of the development of linguistics in Japan. Subsequently, through selected lectures, the uses and meanings of individual grammatical units are explained, highlighting their characteristics. Emphasis is placed on the importance of precise understanding of each construction, etc. | |||
Contents of exercises | First, with assistance, then in groups, and finally independently, the student engages in the analysis of the usage of various grammatical units and constructions, comparing Japanese and Serbian languages. Through work in class and with selected materials, insight is gained into the practical application of grammar acquired within the framework of language courses (Contemporary Japanese Language G), expanding and deepening understanding. Reading and interpreting scientific texts related to the assigned topic, especially in Japanese. Presenting the results of independent literature research in written and oral form. | |||
