The goal | Deeper familiarization of students with the syntax of complex sentences in the Japanese language. Preparing students for further independent research and improvement of Japanese language knowledge with the assistance of a problem-based approach and guidance to necessary literature. | |||
The outcome | The student has learned to determine the meaning of parts of complex Japanese sentences and can justify their understanding and observations. They can use relevant literature for independent research. | |||
Contents | ||||
Contents of lectures | The course includes a theoretical introduction to syntax, analyzing sentences with a special focus on sentence types and their meanings, as well as the sociolinguistic aspect of using certain constructions. The emphasis is placed on the importance of a precise understanding of the grammatical and stylistic elements of sentences. Reading specialized literature on the given topic in Japanese is also emphasized. | |||
Contents of exercises | First, with the help of the teacher, then in groups, and finally independently, the student engages in analyzing the usage of various grammatical units and constructions, comparing Japanese and Serbian languages. Through work in class and selected materials, they gain insight into the practical methodology of conducting research. They also acquire complex constructions in the Japanese language. | |||
