      The goal Introduction to the broader aspects of Japanese language syntax in simple sentences, with a focus on the functionality of verb forms, structural particles, and the meaning of predicate forms. Preparation of students for further independent research and enhancement of Japanese language knowledge through a problem-based approach and guidance to relevant literature.
      The outcome The student has learned to accurately define the meaning of Japanese predicates and entire Japanese sentences, and they can justify their understanding. They are able to utilize relevant literature for independent research.
      Contents
      Contents of lectures The instruction includes a theoretical introduction to syntax and sentence analysis, with a particular focus on predicates and questions of verb conjugation. The emphasis is placed on the importance of a precise understanding of grammatical elements within sentences. Reading specialized literature related to the assigned topic, especially in Japanese, is also emphasized.
      Contents of exercises The student engages in the analysis of the usage of various grammatical units and constructions, comparing Japanese and Serbian language in the process.
