      The goal Students are familiarized with a broader approach to lexicology and semantics through Japanese language examples. Preparing students for further independent research and improving their knowledge of the Japanese language with the assistance of a problem-based approach and guidance towards necessary literature.
      The outcome Students are capable of performing active independent research in the field of lexicology and semantics, using the relevant literature, and are proficient with the necessary technical terminology.
      Contents
      Contents of lectures Examining the general features of lexicology and semantics and their potential use in further independent learning and research of the Japanese language.
      Contents of exercises Problem-based approach to specific language questions and review of the provided corpus. Reading and interpretation of a learned text related to a given subject, especially in Japanese. Presenting results of independent research from secondary literature, and own research, in both written and spoken form.
