The goal | Further development of language receptive, productive, interactive and sociocultural skills and acquisition of language and speaking competence optimally up to level A1.2 | |||
The outcome | The student should master correct pronunciation, acquire and activate the basic lexical fund, adopt basic grammatical forms and constructions and use them correctly in speech and writing, understand and use the most frequent words and expressions in written and oral form, with slow and clear speech production . He is capable of simple communication, he is able to present and write in a simple way about himself, his family, the immediate environment and issues in the domain of everyday needs. The student should adopt the basic spelling rules and apply them correctly when composing sentences and shorter texts. | |||

Contents of lectures | Grammar: nouns, adjectives, personal and possessive pronouns - other case forms without exceptions (genitive, dative, accusative, singular and plural), basic meanings of case forms; verb - future tense, specifics of changing certain verbs; comparison of adjectives and adverbs. | |||
Contents of exercises | Classes include spelling exercises and phonetic exercises (use of soft signs, writing and pronunciation of consonant groups), lexical exercises with translation exercises (meaning and use of words and phrases from the basic lexical fund, prepositional-case constructions, etc. through listening, reading and translating simple texts and dialogues), speaking exercises (topics: "Education", "Professions", "My day", "Free time", "Seasons", "What time is it?"; basic communication within the framework of unfamiliar topics: composing dialogues and monologues within the framework of unfamiliar topics), grammar exercises (rehearsing the material covered in theoretical classes).
