      The goal Knowledge of Czech literature developing process in the 19th century. Introduction to most significant authors and literary works of this period. Recognition of dominant Czech literary trends and groups in the period of romanticism and realism. Getting to know Serbian-Czech, Czech-Slovak, Czech-Russian literary connections during the 19th century and acquiring the ability to compare literary phenomena in Slavic literatures of this period.
      The outcome Knowledge of key works of Czech literature in the period of classicism, romanticism and realism.
      Contents
      Contents of lectures Periods of development of Czech literature during the 19th century. The contribution of Czech Slavists to the development of Slavic studies. Collecting activity of Czech Slavists. Folk and European romanticism in Czech literature compared to romantic tendencies in other Slavic literatures. Realist tendencies in Czech literature of the second half of the 19th century.
