    The goal Acquiring language and communicative competencies at level A2 of the Common European Framework, familiarization with new morphological categories, and further development of language skills (reading, comprehension, and speaking)
    The outcome After completing this level, students are able to understand constructed written texts in Italian at level A2, as well as simpler dialogues and monologues. They are capable of engaging in dialogue and providing basic information about themselves and their surroundings, as well as asking questions to others to find out where they live, what people they know, and what they possess. They can communicate if interlocutors speak slowly and clearly and can produce written texts on basic topics and situations as specified by level A2.
    Contents
    Contents of lectures Theoretical content encompass introducing students to techniques for acquiring vocabulary, written and oral production, text analysis, comprehension of written and oral texts, extracting general and specific information. Students also become acquainted with specific aspects of Italian culture, society, and everyday life.
    Contents of exercises The exercises gradually follow the didactic units and the instructional material that serves the development of language skills in oral production (including interactive skills) and comprehension skills of texts of various types through reading and listening activities with comprehension checks. The selection of texts is aligned with the students' needs and teaching goals. The program includes one knowledge assessment, which takes the form of a final written exam (listening comprehension, dictation, grammar test, written production).
