    The goal Getting to know the basic theories, methods and techniques in the theory and practice of translation, getting to know the course of translation studies in our linguistic society and in the countries of Scandinavia. Translation-critical analysis and determination of translational linguistic-historical layers in different types of text.
    The outcome The candidate is able to do a translation analysis of the text with a critical review, to apply the acquired knowledge in scientific and teaching practice and has the basics for further improvement in the field of translation studies.
    Contents
    Contents of lectures The concept of translation science; the concept of intercultural communication; related sciences; text categories and translation categories. The concept of translation equivalence and the translation process. Techniques of oral, written and combined translation. Evaluation of translations and problems in translating from Scandinavian languages ​​into Serbian and vice versa. Translation aids.
    Contents of exercises Exercises of translation analysis on examples of selected texts in Scandinavian languages ​​and in Serbian.
