Contents of lectures | Arabic business culture and etiquette. Differences between Serbian and Arabic business culture. Structure of Arabic business letters. Common expressions used in business correspondence. Lexical, syntactic, pragmatic, and stylistic features of Business Arabic. | |||
Contents of exercises | The practical part includes reading and translating various types of business texts. These texts can be customized to students' preferences, interests, and needs (for example, economics, law, management, finance, marketing, banking). Business correspondence (job applications, ordering and returning goods, requests, complaints, claims, reservations, etc.). Business conversations (job interviews, etc.). Various types of exercises focused on both written and oral production. | |||
