Contents of lectures The course outlines the origin of phenomenological response to Cartesian skepticism in reference to the problem of metaphysical dualism, Kant’s interpretation of difference between phainomenon and noumenon, as well as the basic principles of Hegel’s phenomenology of Spirit with a resuming intention to indicate a relevance of Brentano’s notion of intentionality of consciousness for a constitution of Husserl’s phenomenology. Heidegger's ontological deconstruction of Husserl's phenomenological position which culminates with a hermeneutical description of Dasein is, implicitly, perceived and analysed as a possibility for recognition of the relationship between philosophy, language and poetry. On these presuppositions, the course enables understanding the relation between phenomenology (Husserl), a phenomenological approach to literature (Ingarden), hermeneutic phenomenology (Heidegger), and the phenomenology of perception (Merleau-Ponty), but it also examines a deconstructive and (post)structuralistic horizon of the phenomenological discourse.
