      Contents of lectures Localization's origin, development, key concepts, and importance. Phases and roles in localization projects. Tools like computer-assisted translation, terminology management, and linguistic testing. Types of content for localization: user interfaces (desktop, mobile, or web apps), online help, marketing content, SEO/SEM campaigns, audiovisual content, video games, and more. Language, culture, and technical aspects for Arabic market localization: grammar, syntax, terminology, script, numerals, calendar, dates, units of measurement, colors, images, symbols, maps, local conventions, religious and geopolitical aspects, and more.
      Contents of exercises Applying theoretical knowledge practically: showing how to work on localization projects using computer-assisted translation tools. Working independently and in teams to localize websites, apps, video games, and more.
