The goal | Acquiring theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of literary translation. Familiarizing students with the specificities of translating prose works of Russian literature. Acquiring knowledge of the history of literary translation from Russian into Serbian. Mastering complex translation procedures. Developing critical thinking and the ability to analyze one's own and others' translations. Enabling students to translate complex literary texts from Russian into Serbian. | |||
The outcome | The student is familiar with the interpretive theory of literary translation. They are able to apply acquired theoretical knowledge and practical skills to solve translation problems when translating prose texts. They can independently perform a pre-translation analysis of a literary prose text and define and apply an appropriate translation strategy. | |||
