    The goal Further development of language receptive, productive, interactive and sociocultural skills and acquisition of language and speaking competence optimally up to level A2.1
    The outcome The student understands and actively uses words from the basic lexical fund, has adopted basic grammatical forms and constructions, as well as spelling rules, and uses them adequately in speech and writing. Understands the most frequent vocabulary and expressions used in topics of personal interest (appearance, character, wardrobe, food, shopping, etc.). He is capable of communication related to simple everyday situations that require direct exchange of information on familiar and common activities and topics. Can translate sentences and shorter texts on the appropriate topics covered in both directions.
    Contents
    Contents of lectures Grammatical (cases, prepositional-case constructions) and lexical (adverbs) means of expressing place and direction, time, object and addressee. Impersonal constructions. Imperative. Verbs of motion without prefixes. Nouns - the most common formal exceptions, IV declension, vocative, gender of invariable nouns.
    Contents of exercises The lessons include exercises in spelling (identifying the material covered in previous courses, writing capital letters, writing prefixes, suffixes, continuations), lexical exercises with translation exercises (the meaning and use of words and phrases from the basic lexical fund, prepositional-case constructions, etc. through listening , reading and translating simple texts and dialogues), speaking exercises (extended topics from everyday life: "Appearance and character", "Wardrobe", "Compliments", "Diet", "In the grocery store", "In the restaurant", "In shopping center"), grammar exercises (rehearsing the material covered in theoretical classes). Use of bilingual dictionaries.

    Methods of teaching Familiarizing students with grammar and spelling rules through explanations and concrete examples, making grammar and lexical exercises in class and at home with checking in class, listening, reading and translating texts from scripts, conducting simple communication in Ukrainian with each other and with the teacher, interactive teaching , independent translation of sentences and shorter texts.
