Contents of lectures | The course is focused on the question about the meaning of existence and Being itself. It points out the difference between the everyday thinking and wisdom and the specificity of philosophy in relation to other forms of human spirituality: science, art, myth and religion. Students are introduced to the various ways in which philosophical thought faces always current problems related to cognitive processes, values, the concept of freedom (moral and political), preservation of peace and (self)realisation of humanity. | |||
