      The goal Become familiar with basic theoretical concepts and methods in the field. Understand the nature of the learning process, strategies for effective teaching and motivating students, and assessing their educational achievements. Developing sensitivity to individual differences among students and respect for their individual needs. Acquiring competencies for critically examining one's own teaching practices and creating a stimulating learning environment.
      The outcome Students will be able to: Differentiate the cognitive processes underlying different types of school requirements, types and levels of knowledge; Apply basic principles of learning theories in teaching practice; Recognize the individual educational needs of students and apply appropriate approaches in the classroom; Explain and analyze basic social psychological phenomena in school settings.

      Contents of lectures Subject and methods of Educational psychology; Forms of learning, types of knowledge and cognitive processes; Educational outcomes, standards and key competencies in education; Assessment and monitoring of students' educational achievements; Educational implications of learning theories 1 (behaviorism, cognitivism, and social learning theory); Educational implications of learning theories 2 (individual and social constructivism); Intelligence (theories, assessment, and use of results); Students in need of additional educational support: learning difficulties and giftedness; Creative and critical thinking; Motivation for school learning; Teacher competencies; School violence;
