    The goal Introduction to Interpreting Studies for Italians 1 is an introductory course in theoretical and practical knowledge and specific techniques of consecutive interpreting. Students of the fourth year are introduced to the basic problems during consecutive interpretation from Italian into Serbian.
    The outcome Acquire the advanced skills required to understand and successfully interpret from Italian into Serbian with note-based consecutive interpreting
    Contents
    Contents of lectures Introduction to the theory of oral translation, the historical development of oral translation, the differences between written and oral translation, the competence of interpreter.
    Contents of exercises Practical classes consist of interpreting texts from Italian into Serbian, practicing note-taking system, developing memory strategies, organising and practicing oral speech in Serbian language.
