    The goal Further development of language receptive, productive, interactive and sociocultural skills and acquisition of language and speaking competence optimally up to level A2.2
    The outcome The student should expand the basic lexical fund, learn new grammatical forms and constructions, as well as spelling rules and use them adequately in speech and writing. Understands the key elements of clear presentations and texts in standard language on familiar topics related to navigating the city, using public transport, going to the cinema and theater, geography of Ukraine, the largest Ukrainian cities, famous Ukrainians, etc. Copes with the most commonly expected communicative situations during a trip to the speaking area of the given language. He can compose a simple coherent text and talk about topics that are closely related to him. He is able to translate sentences and shorter texts on appropriate topics in both directions.
    Contents
    Contents of lectures Pronouns - forms and use of interrogative, demonstrative, negative and indefinite pronouns. Numbers - changing and using basic and ordinal numbers. Some specifics of verb change (verbs with a consonant base, verbs in -–nяti, verbs of the type počati, verbs in –dіti, –počiti, –dяgnuti/–dяgti, sяgnuti/–sяgti, verb stati). Verbal adjective and adverb. Verbs of motion with prefixes. Basics of Ukrainian syntax.
    Contents of exercises The lessons include exercises in spelling (identification of the material covered in previous courses, written words assembled and disassembled), lexical exercises with translation exercises (meaning and use of words and phrases from the basic lexical fund, prepositional-case constructions, etc. through listening, reading and translating simple texts and dialogues), speech exercises with elements of linguistic culture (extended topics from everyday life: "My house", "Traffic. Means of transport", "In the city", "Geography of Ukraine", "Ukrainian national symbolism", "Prominent Ukrainians", etc. .), grammar exercises (rehearsing the material covered in theoretical classes). Use of bilingual dictionaries.
